Chemonics International Inc., an international development consulting firm based in Washington, D.C., seeks Indonesian national candidates for an anticipated USAID-funded New Environment Activity in Indonesia. The project seeks to reduce the threats to biodiversity and reduce greenhouse gas emissions from land use in Indonesia. The ideal candidates will have a record of successfully implementing USAID-funded biodiversity conservation programs as well as a passion for making a difference in the lives of people around the world. We are seeking qualified short- and long-term specialists for the following positions:  

Technical positions:
·     Biodiversity Conservation Specialist

·     Forest Governance Specialist

·     Local Governance Specialist

·     Capacity Development Specialist

·     Forest Land Use Specialist

·     Geographic Information System (GIS) Specialist

·     Greenhouse Gases (GHG) Emission Reduction Specialist

·     Carbon Accounting Specialist

·     Private-Public Partnership Specialist

·     Forestry Private Sector Partnerships Specialist

·     Conservation Finance Specialist

·     Supply Chain Specialist

·     Livelihood Specialist

·     Community Engagement Specialist

·     Payment for Ecosystem Services Specialist

·     Resource Rights, Governance and Policy Reform Specialist

·     Monitoring and Evaluation Manager

·     Communications and Outreach Manager

·     Grants/Subcontracts Manager



Qualifications:

·        Minimum of bachelor’s degree in relevant field required, advanced degree preferred

·        At least seven (7) years professional experience in relevant job function

·        Experience on USAID or other international donor-funded projects preferred

·        Professional fluency in English and Indonesian Bahasa and excellent written and oral communication skills.
