Technical Officer - Community
Duty Station : Jakarta
The Technical Officer – Community will be responsible for the planning, designing and implementation of the community based activities and achievements in the priority districts. Liaise and consult regularly with relevant authorities, community leaders, religious leaders and other stakeholders where appropriate.
Key Responsibilities include:
Planning, designing and implementation of the community based activities and achievements in the priority districts
Liaise and consult regularly with relevant authorities, community leaders, religious leaders and other stakeholders where appropriate.
Prepare annual work plans under his/her responsibility and assure timely submission of these work plan to Technical Services Manager
Monitor implementation of approved activities under his/her responsibility and ensure achievement of its expected outputs
In coordination with Project Manager; plan, maintain and ensure the effectiveness of the use of budget
Supervise and monitor the overall implementation of related YKI work plans in the supported operational areas in close coordination with the respective Dinas Kesehatan
Identify problems, advise on necessary corrective actions, follow-up on these actions, and prepare brief visit reports on findings and recommendations.
Organize and conduct coordination meetings with various stakeholders to optimize implementation of Community Based Activities.
Summarize periodical progress reports and field visit report in accordance with YKI guidelines and submit it to the Technical Services Manager.
Participate in the regular co-ordination meetings with NTP, partners and other stakeholders in district-, provincial-, and national level when invited after consultation with the supervisor/Project Director.
Qualifications and Competencies:
Educational Qualification:
Advanced/university degree in one of disciplines relevant to the areas of:
Health Promotion/Education
Social mobilization
Advocacy and communication
Competencies:
Experience in community based program
Preferably with 2- 3 years experience in TB control/ program management
Good communication skills
Fluent in English, preferably with experience working in international development organizations, research and facilitation activities, writing and reporting
