Pandu Laut Nusantara stands for positive change through creative action: the courage, independence and global reach to defend our ocean.

The Pandu Laut Team

 Pandu Laut Nusantara seek to tackle pressing marine issues including marine debris, overfishing and local marine conservation challenge. Through an array of campaigning tools, including field investigation, documentation of the pollution crimes, public engagement, communication via new & traditional media, and public engagement, we expose the problems, promote solutions, and call for immediate actions to amend them.

 The Post of Program Coordinator

 We are seeking a cross-disciplinary and dedicated professional to be part of our dynamic Pandu Laut Nusantara Team base in Jakarta. Working together with external partners, the Pandu Laut Program Coordinator is directly involved in the development and implementation of exciting and important campaign activities.

 He/she will design, execute, communicate, and promote the campaign message to the public. He/she is expected to have a progressive global perspective on Indonesia rising influence and growing responsibility to help protect global environment, a sharp understanding of Indonesia fast-paced social change.


Who We Are Looking For

You DO NOT need to have DIRECT EXPERIENCE in ocean or fisheries or marine debris issue in order to apply for this position. Good at strategic planning and critical thinking

Have a strong track record of project planning and execution with concrete results

Creative, resilient, and willing to take calculated risks

Speak and write excellent Indonesian and English

Experiences on journalism, communication, advertisement, environmental issues advocacy, managing public event, international relation and finance management will be a plus.
