This position will be based in Jakarta and report to Sustainable Finance Manager. The job holder will provide WWF-Indonesia’s Sustainable Finance Program under the Policy & Advocacy Program Directorate works with companies and financial institutions to support a large scale transition to more sustainable production of commodities. This role works closely with commodities sector specialists on a range of soft commodities that are produced, consumed and traded in Indonesia and Asia. The Finance Sector Outreach Strategy team works with financial institutions in the debt and equity markets, regulators, stock exchanges in order to deliver: improved risk management, capacity, and financial performance in high-impact sectors; insights and data on key global trends; and innovation breakthroughs in sustainable financial products. Major functions of this role are to assist the Sustainable Finance Manager and team in managing sustainable finance work in Indonesia, including carrying out Envir
onmental, Social and Governance (ESG) integration capacity building and technical assistance for banks, supporting the development of needed materials of this project and follow-up activities such as workshops with banks, working and liaising with the banks to carrying out ESG integration practices in their lending and advisory activities.
Requirements for This Position are:
At least Bachelor Degree in Finance, or Economics, Environment Management, Agriculture or Forestry with advance degree is preferable.
5-8 years having working experiences in the area of finance or sustainability, experience working in a bank as a relation manager/ risk officer/ credit officer for 5 years is preferred.
