GIZ is seeking one qualified Indonesian candidate for the following position:
Coordinator Programme Migration and Diaspora
A. Responsibilities      
The Coordinator Programme Migration and Diaspora (PMD), in coordination and communication with PMD Team Leader of GIZ Indonesia, is responsible for the development, steering and coordination of intervention field Business Idea for Development of PMD in Indonesia. 

B.   Tasks
B.1 Dialogue with administrative superior 
  - The Coordinator Programme Migration and Diaspora advises his/her superior (PMD Team Leader) on questions relating to the thematic area Business Idea for Development.
      B.2 Tasks The Coordinator Programme Migration and Diaspora: 
  - is the main contact person in acquiring participants for introductory seminars in Indonesia
  - is the main contact person for introductory seminars, e.g. by offering information about the economic situation in the partner country and opportunities for diaspora experts to set up their own businesses
  - develops, implements, and cooperates with relevant stakeholders for the implementation of Business Ideas for Development for Alumni in Indonesia
  - provides information and advisory services to the returnees about the start-up community and general business climate in Indonesia, as well as start-up funding opportunities
  - identifies resource persons (e.g German entrepreneurs, successful founders among alumni, investors, venture capitals, etc.) for contributions during the seminar program and      coaching process of the participants  
  - establishes a network to support returning entrepreneurs in the areas of: market research, import/export/ customs / legal formalities: financing, business to business (B2B) and    business partners
  - Provides inputs and feedbacks for future improvements and better program delivery
  - Attends business-related seminars and conference aimed to broaden networks and to promote start-up ecosystem relevant for returning entrepreneurs
  - Conducts regular environmental screening in the area of start-up development, incubation, and relevant initiatives from governments and/or other stakeholders
  - Coordinates intervention field Business Idea for Development activities in Indonesia in consultation and coordination with the PMD Team Leader
  - Draws up the country-specific plan of operations, the job order, etc. (technical objectives and funding requirements) in consultation with the local partners involved and the PMD Team Leader, and prepares statements documenting evidence of the use of funds and financial accounts, where necessary
  - Takes relevant key country-specific operational decisions concerning implementation of the activities in the areas of action. Decisions specific to an area of action are taken by  programme managers responsible for the area of action and the officer responsible for the commission at GIZ Head Office
  - Undertakes necessary local and international business trips
  - Attends relevant conferences and prepares specialist contributions
  - Takes part in training and continuing education offered by PMD and attends courses
  - Support all necessary task incl. other intervention fields as necessary advised by PMD Team Leader

B.3 Monitoring and evaluation                        
The Coordinator Programme Migration and Diaspora:

  - supports the monitoring processes in all the areas of action implemented in Indonesia andthe associated activities
  - organises technical consultancy to ensure the quality of the content of reports for results monitoring
  - conducts surveys and collects relevant data in the priority country for results-oriented monitoring and management
  - draws up reports on schedule upon request  

C. Other duties/tasks       
  - Compiles database,files, and relevant documentations to the DMS system 
  - Supports the Procurement of Goods and Services in accordance with GIZ Guidelines
 D. Required Entry Qualifications and Competencies Formal Education 
  - university degree in Management/Law/Economics/Social Sciences or other relevant field
     Professional Experience       
  - Minimum 5 years of professional working experience in comparable position 
     Other Qualifications       

  - Excellent communication, interpersonal, and administrative skills
  - Understanding about migration and employment issues, especially in a cooperation development framework
  - Understanding of the German development cooperation instrument
  - Able to work on own initiative and with limited supervision
  - Strong exposure with German alumni circles and business communities
  - Ability to work in an international and multicultural team
  - Excellent German and English language skills,both written and oral
  - Excellent command of MS-Office
  - Good working knowledge of modern telecommunication systems (telephone, fax, e-mail, internet and IT software)
