Lowongan SurfAid International: Finance Officer (BIMA & West Sumba)-NUSATANI

SurfAid has secured funding for a 5 years Nutrition–Sensitive Agriculture (NSA) program called NUSATANI, to be implemented in Parado Sub-district, Bima District, NTB Province and Laboya Barat Sub-district, West Sumba District, NTT Province. Nutrition–Sensitive Agriculture is an approach that seeks to maximize agriculture’s contribution to positive nutrition outcomes.


 We need persons as team members in the field who will assist a whole team by providing technical support on financial matters in Parado, Bima & Laboya Barat, West Sumba. Therefore, we plan to recruit 2 (two) Finance Officers (FO): 1 (one) for Bima & 1 (one) for West Sumba.

Under supervision from Finance Manager and in close coordination with NUSATANI Manager & Project Coordinator, the finance officer will:

1.      Accurately and timely administration, disbursement, reporting and review of funds to support SurfAid Indonesia operations and programs in line with international finance and audit standards as well as donor requirements;

2.      Provide technical support to the team and management on financial and accounting matters;

3.      Timely, accurate and accountable financial reporting for internal and external stakeholders.


Requirements:

1.      University degree of accounting background or related field/At least Bachelor’s degree in the relevant studies.

2.      Proven years of finance related experience in an NGO.

3.      Knowledge of financial accounting systems or similar financial reporting software will be an advantage (MYOB, quick-books).

4.      Knowledge of tax calculation/report article 21/23 and article 4(2).

5.      Experience working in isolated islands/rural areas.
