What we are looking for
We are looking for consultant to conduct quantitative data collection and translate and process the data in preparation for analysis. The consultant will perform remote data collection youth respondent and community representative as described in methodology in three areas, including Indramayu (West Java Province), Barru-Maros-Pangkep (South Sulawesi Province), and Kendari-Baubau-Wakatobi (South-east Sulawesi Province).
The Role
The consultant should have the following skills and competencies:
Knowledge of research methods, including quantitative data collection through interview/probing process to selected respondent (required)
Experience designing and research synthesis (required)
Ability to assess the quality and rigor of individual research studies based on study design criteria (required)
Familiarity working with smartphones, tablets and apps (required)
Excellent writing precise and detailed transcripts and reports on research studies (required)
Excellent in written communication and presentation skills in English (required)
Experience to maintain data security for research purpose and ensuring data protection requirement in place (required)
Experience to maintain safeguarding protocol to manage data collection process is meet with safeguarding aspect in properly manner (required)
Experience working with youth work (desired)
Experience conducting quantitative data collection with digital survey tools (Qualtrics, Mobenzi, Survey CTO, Kobo, etc.) (desired)

Proposal Submission
Interested consultant should submit their proposal (max. 7 pages) including the proposed methodology (methods, budget, and plan) that explained:
A capacity statement describing experience in conducting the necessary data collection and processing of data, as well as evidence of the required skillset and demonstrated experience conducting research in workplace settings.
A detailed budget in IDR and workplan.
CVs of key personnel who will be engaged in the data collection. Data collection firms/organizations must also submit an institutional capacity statement.
Brief paragraph summaries of 3-4 examples of similar data collection work conducted within the past two (2) years. The summaries should include descriptions of the past efforts, covering the scale of data collection, the methods used, field strategy, data management approach, quality control systems, etc.
2-3 references that can be contacted regarding the quality of the Consultant firms’ work.
