Background  

As the Covid-19 crisis invades both our personal and professional lives, the health and wellbeing of our staff and their families is paramount. And because of this pandemic has changed the way we traditionally operate, to ensure that we enable to survive and emerge stronger as an organization, we must look at ways to turn this crisis into opportunity.  Making this turnaround requires innovation and one cohesive team which is solid, agile and embracing the new era. It is therefore important and crucial to ensure that the organization has a plan towards recovery, while maintaining staff health and wellbeing as well as building strong resiliency and preparing the workforce to be ready for the new normal.   

Objective:  

Support Resilience and Transformation (RT) Squad Save the Children Indonesia to ensure safe workplace that protect and promote workers' safety, health environment and well-being  

Scope of Work:  

Work closely with the RT Squad  

Provide global and national health updates on Covid19 pandemic to RT Squad  
Desk review on health protocols and guidelines during covid-19 pandemic  
Work together with Safety and Security Focal Point (SSFP) and Operations team to review/develop/revise SC’s protocols[1] on staff travelling, staff when working in field, back to office, distribution (and house to house distribution)  
With emphasis on occupational health and include ways to monitor implementation of the protocols  
Create incident reporting mechanism and the supporting document of staffs infected/affected by Covid-19  
Educate SC staffs on workplace safety through webinar, internal campaign activities and other platforms in SC  
Provide recommendations to SC management on improving health and safety of staffs (e.g annual check-up, health insurance)  
Prepare written reports  
Expected Deliverables:  

Protocols and guidelines  
Incident reporting mechanism and the supporting document  
Written recommendations to SC management on improving health and safety of staffs (eg annual check-up, health insurance)  
Consultancy report at the end of working period  
Timeframe:  

10 working days within period in Aug – Sept 2020  

Consultant will be reporting to :  

Health advisor of Save the Children  

Qualification:  

Education background: master degree in Occupational health  
Past experience in occupational health-related consultancy/works, especially with development organizations that works in humanitarian response  
Skills in developing SOPs and reporting mechanism for staffs/team working in development program; in the setting of outbreak  
Good facilitation and communication skills in both English and Bahasa.
