Oxfam in Indonesia Job Vacancy (Legal Firm) - Consultant Technical Assistance Service to Oxfam and Partner Organizations (INT7065)

Consultancy Objectives

The focus of the activity is to ensure that the partners are ready for the incoming audits of the project, Therefore the services of the consultant are required to screen/review all of the documents and provide complete list of any missing documents that are necessary for eligibility of the expenditures and also advise and support the partners where necessary, for the completion of all supporting documents.

The partners are based in Palu where the verification of the documents is expected to be done physically, upon completion of assignment the consultant will be required to organise a debrief meeting with Oxfam and partner’s management to brief on areas of strength and weakness with policy recommendation that can be adopted by the partner organizations to answer their organizational context, nature and model.

How to apply


The consultant should be a legal firm/company based in Indonesia with license to operate in Indonesia.

The consultant verifying the financial documents, must have qualification of professional auditing ,having experience of working with a well reputed audit firm ( who is registered with the legally recognized local institute of chartered accountants which is, in turn, affiliated to the International Federation of Accountants (IFAC). ) , or it can be a registered audit firm having capacity to deploy the team member of having professional audit qualifications and working experience on audits

The consultant/team members of audit firm should have experience of not less than 3 years on auditing.

The consultant/ audit firm should not, during the period of the assignment or while undertaking the assignment, be employed by, serve as director for, or have any financial or close business relationships with any senior participants in the management of the entity of the organizations that need this technical support.

The consultant/ audit firm must employ adequate staff with appropriate professionals, including experience in auditing the accounts of entities comparable in size and complexity to the entity being audited.

The offer should be sent along with the CV of the team members proposed for the assignment. The CVs should provide details of the professional experience in auditing and years of professional experience in audit work.

Offer budget should include all costs to undertake the audit with separated line item for each propose activity of audit

The offer should be submitted in English including the proposed timeline and budget.

The verification exercise is expected to start no later than 1 December 2020 and the expected deadline for submission of the final report is 45 days after start of the assignment. The final report should be submitted in English.
