KOMPAK Program
KOMPAK is an Australia-Indonesia government partnership supporting the Government of Indonesia's efforts in reducing poverty through improvements in basic service delivery and creating opportunities for work. KOMPAK focuses its efforts on three result areas:
- Supporting Local Governments and Service Units to better address the needs of basic service users;
- Supporting the poor and vulnerable to benefit from improved village governance; and
- Supporting the poor and vulnerable to benefit from increased opportunities for employment and economic development.
The Opportunity
The objective of this consultancy is to provide technical support to Bappenas and KOMPAK in the policy for national planning, related to strengthening village governance, village development and rural and community empowerment.
Key Duties
Under the supervision of the KVS Lead, the consultant, will carry out the following tasks
- Assist to collect program and activities’ data and information related to village governance, village development, rural and community empowerment
- Compile data/information related to program/activities and general policies of village governance, village development, rural and community empowerment
- Develop narrative resume/ simple analysis on program/activities related to village governance, village development, rural and community empowerment.
- Develop narrative resume on discussion results which relevant with policies, program and activities on village governance, village development, rural and community empowerment
- Formulate and design presentations based on need into infographic which easy to understand by audience and disseminated through digital and non-digital media.
- Assist in coordinating KOMPAK activities on sub-district and village governance strengthening and social accountability which related to main function of Directorate of Village at BAPPENAS

Key Requirements
- Minimum bachelor’s degree education in all majors, preferably from a background, Government Science, Planology, Geography, Development Economics, Social Economics and Engineering
- Have the skills to develop infographic/graphic designs
- Experienced in any relevant work for at least 1 year
- Have the skills to prepare work plans and reports
- Good communication and inter-personal skills
- Able to work in teams and work independently
- Understanding of gender equality and social inclusion issues
