Lowongan Research & Evaluation Consultant

Yayasan Inisiatif Perubahan Akses menuju Sehat (IPAS) Indonesia, is a local foundation works as affiliation of Ipas global so that women and girls have improved sexual and reproductive health and rights through enhanced access to and use of safe abortion and contraceptive care as per Indonesia Law. Currently, Yayasan IPAS Indonesia is implementing a pilot model for comprehensive post-abortion care (PAC) in 3 selected areas in Java, Indonesia. Aiming to support the project management, series of monitoring and evaluation (M&E) activities will be implemented in the areas. Data obtained from the M&E activities will serve as a basis for project improvement and advocacy materials development.

We are currently seeking a Research & Evaluation Consultant, to be based in Jakarta.


Under the supervision of R&E Advisor and in close collaboration with other units within the project, the R&E Consultant will develop, adapt, and test monitoring tools, and provide support in strengthening PEKERTi project monitoring and evaluation activities.

Scope of Work

-      Develop activity monitoring tools, including monthly activity tracking, event review form, etc.

-      Enter monthly M&E related data on women served, trained providers, intervention sites and other program activities into the appropriate data management systems in a timely manner

-      Reviews and cleans monthly facility data to ensure accuracy and completeness of data before and after entries are done in the required software

-      Support R&E in enhancing data management system for PEKERTi project (task against roles and responsibility in all steps of data management)

-      Support in developing research and evaluation plan



Requirements

-      Bachelors degree in social science or public health with 3-5 years work experience in research and evaluation of health programs in Indonesia. Masters degree is an advantage.

-      Experience with statistical analysis computer packages (e.g., STATA, SPSS, SAS, EpiInfo)

-      Experience with digital platform or mobile based data collection (e.g., ODK, mentimeter)

-      Experience with word processing (Word), spreadsheets (Excel) and presentation software (PowerPoint)

-      Experience working with databases; experience with relational databases preferred but not required

-      Well-organized, with ability to track multiple projects and deadlines

-      Strong verbal and written communication skills in English
