“Yayasan Kemanusiaan Muslim Indonesia” or YKMI, established as local Foundation (NGO) on 29 Augustus 2014, Under registration No.: SK AHU.05181.50.10.2014.  Our vision is protection and support delivery to less fortunate people and affected people of various disasters with continuity sustainable, useful and efficiency to solve the poverty and helplessness on the people live. We are working on community development to improve the community capacities related to Education (orphan care, early child education); Livelihood (Economic Empowernment, Microfinance – syariah); WASH (Water well, Sanitation and Hygiene); Emergency Response; DRR & Climate Change. Sulawesi Programme for Earthquake and Tsunami need following positions:


PROJECT COORDINATOR (Based in PALU)

The Project Coordinator has full responsibility for the daily/weekly implementation and management of the SIGI - PETRA Project YKMI-UNDP in Sigi District, Central Sulawesi. He/she manages whole team/staff in the project area & manage all aspects of implementation within SIGI district of the PETRA project according to agreed project design and contract; Liaison and collaborate with relevant stakeholders from provincial to village services.


Qualifications and Experiences:

Minimum  8 years experience in management of development projects at field level; Proven ability to manage both technical and support staff in a harmonious and productive manner; direct experienced in the field of rural livelihoods and community development; specific experience or qualification in the area of construction, BUMDES development and DRR; experiences of collaborative working with UN, local government services and community level; good report writing skills in English and Bahasa Indonesia; good leadership and team spirits; positive approach to problem solving; ability to work under pressure to tight deadlines and wiling to work in Sigi District- Central Sulawesi.


ENGINEER (Based in PALU )

He/she will be responsible to Project Coordinator and will work closely with team of YKMI in Palu. The engineer will supervise all technical engineering related to construction works. Based on the agreed design and budget plan, He/she prepare a master work plan, review detail project schedule, prepare construction guideline, make sure the aspects of health, safety, security and quality control.

Qualifications and Experiences:

The Engineer is required to have post-graduate qualifications in the field of Civil Engineer, minimum 5 years of practical field experience on working in bridge and community hall construction. He/She has ability to work with a team in a multi-cultural environment; have good capacity in English and Bahasa reading, speaking and writing, Local language would be an asset. Ability to work under pressure to tight deadlines and adapt to change; ability to work on own initiative and willing to work in Sigi District, Central Sulawesi.


MONITORING & EVALUATION OFFICER (Based in PALU)

He/she will closely work with Program Manager in designing and implementing the monitoring and evaluation strategy for the PETRA project of YKMI; Developing of monitoring log-frames/result frameworks (expected outcomes, outputs, indicators, baseline data, performance targets, lessons learned,etc); Providing support to YKMI project teams in checking, verifying accuracy and competence of reported information and complying with the quality requirements of the donor agency; provide reporting and will be responsible to Program Manager.


Qualifications and Experiences:

University degree or its equivalent in Economic, social science, international development planning, or related field; Proven programme appraisal, development, and monitoring & impact assessment skills; Proven experience of drafting and writing project monitoring and reporting documents; Have good English reading, writing and speaking ability, A focus on results, balanced with a sensitive and honest approach to people. Willing to work in Sigi District, Central Sulawesi.


COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT OFFICER (Based in PALU)

The role of the Community Development Officer is concerned with providing technical assistance at community level regarding the conduct and implementation of all community development activities of the Livelihood & Construction programs of YKMI.  You should have experience in dealing with people of all ages; all backgrounds, culture and building capacity would be an advantage. 


Qualifications and Experiences:

Community Development Officer (CDO) is required to have post-graduate Social Development and relevant background; experienced working with community development; has excellent communication and interpersonal skill; Good oral communication skills in bahasa and english is asset; flexibility and adaptability; excellent organisational skills; the ability to work under pressure and to tight deadlines; Ability to work on own initiative; honesty and reliability; A knowledge of social marketing would be an asset.
