Rumah Energi (YRE) was established on 19 November 2012 within the framework of the Indonesia Domestic Biogas Programme (IDBP/BIRU), a program lead by HIVOS. 

The organization is developing into an independent organization by establishing its own identity, define its vision, mission and values.  The organization constitution explains the organization purpose which is to contribute in creating Resilience Society in Energy and Food, and  leading a  in Engaging People Towards Shared Renewable Energy Innovation and Knowledge.

Adhering to the the organization aim and mission, Yayasan Rumah Energi is now looking for a dynamic,  passionate person  aligned  with the organization values , to fill the following position:


BIOSLURRY technical ASSISTANT  (BTA) for CENTRAL sulawesi   

Role and responsibilities :

1.      Engage with biogas users and create interest in developing bioslurry and organic farming related small business;

2.      Work within the Project teams to optimize the use of bioslurry by biogas owners;

3.      Provide guidance and advice to project beneficiaries;

4.      Provide reports and/or any feedbacks to Project Coordinator, Technical Specialist, on technical and non-technical matters

5.      Help the technical team in maintaining quality plant construction

6.      Visit plant construction /project sites regularly for quality control, and assisting partners to solve any technical matters

7.      Give a direction and provide feedback on technical improvement

8.      Closely coordinate with the Project Coordinator for crucial decisions.

9.      Participate in other assignment when required

Qualification :

1.      Diploma Degree of Agriculture, Technical, Social and any other disciplines

2.      Energetic and able to work in team

3.      Familiar with excel, word, and PowerPoint


Expected knowledge and skills :·      

·       Knowledge on  agriculture and energy issue or domestic biogas will be an advantage

·       Able to work under minimum supervision

·       A good team player
