District Administration Support Assistant (Pekalongan) - Indonesia

KOMPAK Program

KOMPAK is an Australia-Indonesia government partnership supporting the Government of Indonesia's efforts in reducing poverty through improvements in basic service delivery and creating opportunities for work. KOMPAK focuses its efforts on three result areas:

Supporting Local Governments and Service Units to better address the needs of basic service users;
Supporting the poor and vulnerable to benefit from improved village governance; and
Supporting the poor and vulnerable to benefit from increased opportunities for employment and economic development.
 
The Opportunity

The District Administration Support Assistant (DASA) is under the overall supervision of the Provincial Manager and direct supervision of the District Coordinator (DC). In carrying out its duties, this position also coordinates with the Finance Coordinator and Office Coordinator in the province. This position is responsible for assisting the District Coordinator in managing financial and logistical administrative tasks for events (seminars, workshops, training, FGDs, etc.) carried out at the district level, as well as providing support for operations of KOMPAK district offices.

Key Duties

Assisting procurement of logistics for activities/events (looking for offers/quotations from goods/services providers, making small-scale purchases related to activity needs, etc.)
Assisting the distribution of invitations and confirm the presence of event participants
Supporting the preparation and management of administration and finance during the activity/event
Preparing a financial accountability report/ cash advance acquittal after the activity/event and submit it to the provincial office for the review process
Following up on invoices/bills with suppliers of goods/services in districts and sub-districts for the process of submitting payments
Assisting DC in managing KOMPAK offices in the district (management of operational cash advance and preparation of accountability reports/operational cash advance acquittal, purchasing office operational needs, etc.)
Performing other related tasks if needed

Key Requirements

Minimum D3 or S1 degree
Minimum 2 years work experience with NGOs or development projects
Good understanding of financial administration
Communicate effectively
Thorough, neat and agile at work
Can be trusted and responsible
Able to work together in teams
Understanding of gender equality and social inclusion issues
