YCAB Foundation seeks an experienced Project Manager with passion, dedication, and commitment to excel, innovate, and put interest in social impact to join our team on a full-time contract basis to manage several projects.
The successful candidate will need to combine strategic-thinking and a hands-on approach to execute on high-impact, scalable ideas, projects and events. The candidate will have experience of project management and execution, government and other stakeholder engagement, and experience in developing and / or delivering capacity building or training initiatives.
Project Manager
Responsibilities
- Develop and execute education and economic empowerment projects across Indonesia, as well as community building partnerships and government engagement, aligned to YCAB’s impact goals;
- Coordinate between YCAB’s partnership team to support with planning, development of projects – concept, budget, strategy, outcomes;
- Ensure monitoring and evaluation processes are in place and that effective projects reporting is completed, demonstrating project outcomes;
- Support any assessment around new partnership within the project implementation scope and opportunity identification;
- Develop relationship between internal departments and external stakeholders within the project scope to support projects strategy;
- Design project workplan, monitor the implementation and ensure its quality and compliance
- with organization and partner’s standard
- Manage process to ensure projects quality, as well as to identify stories and case studies of beneficiaries within the project scope;
- Manage project team on various project initiatives to ensure impact to the community
Requirements and Attributes
- 3+ years of experience in project management, community engagement in Indonesia, preferably in non-profit management experience;
- Experience in cross-sector partnership, project delivery and / or project management;
- Experience with feet-on-the-ground community stakeholders, willing to be very involved;
- Comfortable with a fast-paced environment, demonstrate initiative and the ability to flourish amidst ambiguity;
- Proficient written and oral communication in English and Bahasa Indonesia;
- Good cross-functional and project management skills with experience managing multiple high priority projects simultaneously;
- Strong interpersonal skills, experience working with all levels of seniority and ability to build successful relationship, both internally and externally, through collaboration and ability to influence stakeholders across all levels of the organization;
- Bachelor’s Degree in any major is welcome to apply;
- Experience working with government or on government programs, conducting stakeholder mapping and government engagement a benefit;
- Travel to project site will be required within Indonesia;
- You are a self-starter with strong leadership skill, you can work independently but remain a collaborative team player, you are enthusiastic with high energy and a real “can-do” attitude;
- You are proficient with Microsoft Office and generally a natural at adopting new technology;
- You want to make the world better place and want to do work that addresses pressing educational, social, and economic issues.
