Palladium is appointed by USAID to manage USAID-funded Health technical Assistance Project (BANTU), to support USAID Indonesia’s Country Development Cooperation Strategy (CDCS) by rapidly leveraging specialized short and long-term technical assistance to USAID, USAID-funded programs; the Government of Indonesia (GOI), and other organizations and agencies as required.

We are currently seeking a short-term Administration and Liaison Assistant to be seconded to the International Cooperation Bureau (KSLN) of the Ministry of Health (MOH) of the Republic of Indonesia.

JOB SUMMARY:

In Indonesia, the USAID Office of Health partnered with the Ministry of Health of the Republic of Indonesia and other related parties to improve shared health priorities in Indonesia. This includes control of tropical and contagious diseases (such as Tuberculosis/TB and HIV/AIDS) and protect mothers and newborns from deaths due to preventable causes, and strengthening the health system.

USAID through BANTU Project will recruit 1 (one) short-term Administration and Liaison Assistant to be assigned to the International Cooperation Bureau (KSLN), the Ministry of Health of the Republic of Indonesia. The individual will carry out administrative tasks including correspondence, archiving, and reporting related to USAID’s program in Indonesia. S/he will coordinate and attend meetings related to USAID projects under the USAID-MOH GIA, write minutes of meetings, monitor and track the process of letters from/to USAID, coordinate workflows with USAID – Ministry of Health staff for USAID Health programs, and provide support to relevant reporting systems. The assistant will process USAID – Ministry of Health Goods and Services Proceedings (BAST) in a timely manner.

This position is for an Indonesian (local hire) with working period until June 30, 2021 and will be based at the Bureau of International Cooperation (KSLN) office with working arrangement in accordance with the rule and regulation under USAID and MOH.

REQUIREMENTS: At least Diploma degree in public health, management, or equivalent; Bachelor’s degree in public health, management, or equivalent; follow the developments and has good understanding of health and grant management rules/regulations/legislations in force by the Government of Indonesia; fluent written, verbal, and presenting communication in English and Bahasa Indonesia; able to work independently and under minimum supervision; able to work together effectively in teams and take initiatives in dealing with problems.
