Background

The Fleming Fund Country Grant to Indonesia is supporting the government in implementing the National Antimicrobial Resistance (AMR) Action Plan. The fund supports strategies to monitor and contain AMR and to monitor antimicrobial consumption and use (AMC/U) and improve antimicrobial stewardship. The Fleming Fund Country Grant Indonesia is being implemented by a consortium led by DAI with partners the Eijkman Institute, Health Security Partners, Liverpool School of Tropical Medicine and Ausvet. The implementation of the Fund adopts a One Health approach supporting activities across the human, terrestrial animal and aquatic animal sectors. The project seeks to strengthen current surveillance of AMR and AMU/C by working closely with the Ministries of Health, Agriculture and Marine Affairs and Fisheries and provincial counterparts to support capacity development in relation to laboratories and testing, surveillance and information management. The project will also support and seek to engage private sector interests including healthcare providers and animal production industry stakeholders.

 

Purpose of This Post

DAI_Fleming Fund Country Grant to Indonesia is seeking a dynamic and experienced professional for the short time position of Graphic Designer.

 

Description of Duties

 

1.    Polish all communication materials, including but not limited to the Fleming Fund Country Grant to Indonesia/FFCGI’s existing set of slides.

2.    Provide better designs in line with The Fleming Fund Country Grant to Indonesia requirements.

3.    Develop templates for future slides, templates for one pagers and templates for shareable WhatsApp slides, including infographics.

4.    Ability to show such portfolio. 

5.    Deliver creative and innovative ideas for print, electronic, web-based and animated presentations.

6.    Design and lay-out of reports and other products.

7.    Design of reports and other communication materials for printing and electronic distribution.

8.    Improve and edit artwork, photos, charts and other graphic elements.

9.    Layout and design information and communication materials (banners, posters, booklets, leaflets, books, calendars, bulletins, flyers, cards).

10. Deliver creative graphic and technical solutions for use of new media (virtual 3D words/boxes, postcards).

11. Able to work in DAI office if any urgent duties.

 

Qualifications and Skills

  • Strong theoretical and practical background in graphic design, including the use of design software such as Adobe Design Premium, In-Design, CorelDraw, web design tools such as Dreamweaver and Flash.
  • Proven experience of graphic production from start to published/printed product with knowledge of printing processes (offset and digital) and color management.
  • Minimum 14 (fourteen) years of relevant work experience or/and at least 5 (five) years in health/science communication, development and behavior change communication.

Supervision

The Graphic Designer will work closely with Communication Specialist and under the supervision of Technical Programme Lead.

 

Level of Effort/Timeline

Period of performance for this assignment is from August 2021 to September 30, 2021 with up to 15 (fifteen) of LOE (Level of Effort).

Indonesian national.

 

Remuneration and package

Remuneration and package will be commensurate with the candidate’s qualifications and experience.
