The Management of GIZ Indonesia has set the target to align its diverse portfolio with a total annual volume of €34 Mio. (2020), consisting of a variety of clients to the company’s vision and cope with the topic of digital transformation in its services by driving forward innovative, effective and replicable digital approaches and digital skills development through the focus areas of the Indonesian-German development cooperation:

- sustainable economic development & TVET
- cooperation with the private sector and governance constitutes important cross-cutting issues of the bilateral cooperation.
We are seeking 2 (two) qualified Indonesian candidates for the following position:
Trainee(s) for Digitalization Knowledge Management Support
A. Responsibilities
The incumbents will be supporting GIZ Indonesia in the identification, assessment of innovative digital approaches already applied within the portfolio/projects and support in the on-going digital transformation process.
B. Tasks
- Support in the identification and assessment process of digital approaches within the GIZ supported projects, including the collection, compilation of project materials and technical documentation;
- Actively support in internal or external discussion and brainstorming sessions on the topic of digital transformation;
- Support in the preparation of publication materials or internal briefs on the topic of digitalization;
- Actively bring in new ideas.
C. Required qualifications, competences, and experience
Qualifications
- Fresh graduate or last semester master student in information technology/computer science/informatic engineering/informatic management or software engineering.
Professional experiences
- Good conceptual, inter-personal communication, and representation skills,
- Strong interest to work on issue related to digitalisation, information technology and management in various sectors of importance to the German-Indonesian Technical Cooperation like energy & climate, climate & Environmental Protection, Sustainable Economic Growth and TVET.
Other knowledge, additional competences
- Good communication, organisational and information management skills,
- Intercultural understanding is additional advantages;
- Self-motivated with time management skills and ability to work with minimum supervision, and strong willingness to learn;
- Good command of Ms. Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word);
- Good English skills;
- Ability to work in a team and to adapt to an international working environment;
- Preferably active in student/public organizations or activities on environment related campaign;
- Ability to operate visual design programmes is an advantage;
- Experience in writing article, blog, social-media caption, computer programmes is an advantage.
