In addition to advocacy and support, YAPPIKA-ActionAid also oversees several service programs both directly and with local partners that benefit underserved populations, including children and excluded minorities. YAPPIKA-ActionAid invites competent, experienced and committed professionals to fill the following positions:


Grant Officer

This position is required to control the accountability of financial management which continues to increase, where there is a need for gradual control over the financial management of the program by partners as well as separation between the compliance process and the accounting process. And it takes a dedicated person to develop instruments and implement quality control and compliance with program financial management by partners.

 

KEY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

·         Responsible for and providing support to the Head of Program and Finance Manager in developing a system for distributing program grants to YAPPIKA-ActionAid partner organizations.

·         Provide support to the Head of Program in managing grants starting from reviewing proposals; due diligence; reviewing submissions for disbursement of funds, monitoring the use of funds, examining reports on grant funds; periodic internal audits; to close the grants.

·         Provide support to the Head of Program and Finance Manager in compiling a Grant management guide that will become a reference for YAPPIKA-ActionAid partner organizations. Including adapting the guidelines in accordance with the requirements (compliance) of the donor or federation.

·         Provide capacity building activities and assistance needed by partner organizations related to the use and accountability of grant funds.

·         Contribute to the institutional development of YAPPIKA-ActionAid and the application of the principles and policies of the ActionAid Federation.

·         Perform administrative tasks in accordance with the field of work, including managing the resources under his responsibility.

 

Qualifications:

·         Have a minimum of 3 years experiences in the management of grant funds, finance, or program management and monitoring of non-profit organizations.

·         Minimum education S1 or more, preferably from the majors in management, finance, law.

·         Have experience and knowledge of effective financial and budget control.

·         Experience working with external auditors.

·         Have good written and verbal communication in Indonesian and English.

·         Have the skills to facilitate or lead meetings.

·         Computer literate, especially in Office Applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.).

·         Have the ability to build good working relationships with internal work teams and partner organizations.

·         Willing to implement the principles and policies of YAPPIKA-ActionAid and the ActionAid Federation.

·         Willing to work in a work environment that respects diversity and is non-discriminatory.

·         Willing to work with flexible schedule, and travel to YAPPIKA-ActionAid working areas.
