YRII, previously Islamic Relief Worldwide in Indonesia as globally with Islamic Relief Worldwide we have been fighting poverty and injustice for 30 years, in a world where more than three billion people still live in poverty.

 Country Purpose:

Islamic Relief Worldwide in Indonesia has been operating since 2003, and officially became the Yayasan Relief Islami Indonesia in January 2022. The objective of the Yayasan Relief Islami Indonesia program is to contribute to the social welfare of the Indonesian people and to alleviate suffering. The main sector for the programme include:

        Water and Sanitation

The geographical area: NTB, Aceh, Central Sulawesi, West Sulawesi and Jakarta Province and will be expanded to all regions of Indonesia according to the development of the organization. The implementation of the program is carried out directly by YRII or through cooperation partners.

 Yayasan Relief Islami Indonesia is seeking  MEAL Assistant based in Palu, Central Sulawesi.

Reporting Line:

Post holder would directly report to MEAL Coordinator in Lombok.

Job Summary:

The MEAL Assistant will work under the overall direction and supervision of MEAL Coordinator in performing data management, visualization, and maintaining all the apps of data collection and analysis. Specifically, s/he will be responsible for collecting, storing, and achieving data of all related project documentations. This position will assist the MEAL Coordinator in implementing database systems to ensure the effective, accurate and sustainable collection of information and data in all field offices. S/he will maintain an appropriate filling system of received data and reports from project team. S/he will also work closely with the all-relevant staff in supporting information and tools during project design, research, monitoring, evaluation and reporting.

Specific Skills and Responsibilities:

·       Determine the primary data and information elements that are required internally and externally to support the projects

·       Design, develop and manage databases, spreadsheets and other data tools including manage SADDD of the RHs for all the projects

·       Consolidate operational information on a regular schedule to support analysis and design and implement sustainable information management and dissemination systems for data collections

·       Propose and implement upgrades to the database webpage, data entry and data storing system

·       Act as a focal point/central instrument for the collection, analysis and dissemination of information relevant to the project activities

·       Produce and update information products such as maps, charts and infographics by turning data into graphical products to convey messages and a storyline as well as support strategic and operational decision-making

·       Maintain or update a web application (new beneficiary.co.id), On track system for all the projects

·       Collecting and manage IHSAN evidence for all related program documents

·       Maintain CRM related activities including record and analyze the CRM log in central Sulawesi office

·       Performs other related duties, as may be assigned by the project manager or direct supervisor

 

Skills:

·       Excellent skills in advance excel, SPSS, or other data collection and analysis tools/software;

·       Excellent written and oral communication skills in English is preferred;

·       Organizational and time management skills required;

·       Ability to work independently and as part of a team;

·       Excellent competence in Information Technology (IT).

Experience/Education:

·       The applicants must have a minimum of a Bachelor’s Degree in IT, statistic, development studies data management and other related subjects, and formal training in monitoring and evaluation, with at least 2 years’ experience in MEAL related jobs;

·       Proven experience in data management and skills in training and transfer of knowledge to others;
