Job vacancy: Senior Adviser – Infrastructure
The Embassy of Switzerland in Indonesia is the official representation of Switzerland and covers all matters concerning diplomatic relations between the two countries. It represents Swiss interests in the areas of political, economic and financial affairs, legal arrangements, science, education and culture. The Embassy promotes the Swiss economy in Indonesia, Swiss exports and tourism. It implements the Swiss economic cooperation and development strategy in Indonesia. The Ambassador is also accredited to the Association of Southeast Asian Nations (ASEAN) and to Timor-Leste. The Embassy is actively involved in implementing the ASEAN-Switzerland Sectoral Dialogue Partnership.
In order to strengthen the Swiss Business Hub Indonesia we are currently looking for an Indonesian national for the position as Senior Adviser – Infrastructure.
The Swiss Business Hub Indonesia is headquartered at the Swiss Embassy in Switzerland. SBH Indonesia is the official export and investment promotion agency of the Swiss Government. They assist Swiss companies in exploring business opportunities available in Indonesia.
The position holder shall be expected to identify suitable projects, connect with Swiss and Indonesian stakeholders, raise awareness of the Swiss competencies in infrastructure space in Indonesia, and generate leads. Key stakeholders include other Government agencies, key people in Swiss companies exploring opportunities in Indonesia, potential partners in Indonesia like EPC, or other potential customers. To be effective, the position holder needs to have a sound understanding of Infrastructure industry landscape in Indonesia, should be good at networking at the highest level, and have a high level of customer orientation and results orientation. The selected person will assist Swiss companies to participate in opportunities offered by large Indonesian infrastructure projects. Responsibilities include - Market Intelligence, Market Preparation, Evaluation, Tender Phase Assistance, Implementation Assistance, and Knowledge Management.
