TB-HIV Administrative Support Staff



Palladium is appointed by USAID to manage USAID-funded Health technical Assistance Project (BANTU), to support USAID Indonesia’s Country Development Cooperation Strategy (CDCS) by rapidly leveraging specialized short and long-term technical assistance to USAID, USAID-funded programs; the Government of Indonesia (GOI), and other organizations and agencies as required.

We are currently seeking a full-time Administrative Staff to be seconded to the Directorate of Direct Infectious Diseases Prevention and Control (P2PML), TB and HIV Units, the Ministry of Health (MOH) of the Republic of Indonesia.

JOB SUMMARY:

In Indonesia, the USAID Office of Health partnered with the Ministry of Health of the Republic of Indonesia and other related parties to improve shared health priorities in Indonesia. This includes control of tropical and contagious diseases (such as Tuberculosis/TB and HIV/AIDS) and protect mothers and newborns from deaths due to preventable causes.

USAID through BANTU Project will recruit 1 (one) Administrative Staff to be assigned to the Directorate of P2PML, the Ministry of Health of the Republic of Indonesia. The individual will carry out administrative tasks including correspondence, archiving, reporting, and write minutes of meetings. S/he will coordinate workflows with TB and HIV program staff in USAID and MOH regarding reporting system, and process USAID – MOH Goods and Services Proceedings (BAST).

This position is for an Indonesian (local hire) for up to 1 (one) year period or no longer than July 31, 2021. The position will be based at the Directorate of P2PML office and working arrangement will be in accordance with the rule and regulation under USAID and MOH.

REQUIREMENTS: Bachelor’s degree in public health, management, or equivalent; minimum 3 years of experience working in administrative/management of TB/HIV projects with local/international NGO; has good understanding of health and grant management rules/regulations/legislations in force by the Government of Indonesia; excellent written, verbal, and presenting communication in English and Bahasa Indonesia are required.
