Funded by Europe Aid, the Inclusive Access to Multi-sectoral Services and Assistance for Everyone (I AM SAFE) project aims to support the government’s response to COVID-19 and the affected communities in several locations in Greater Jakarta area, DI Yogyakarta and Nusa Tenggara Timur (NTT) provinces through inclusive access to multi-sectoral assistance and critical services, and mitigate the impact of COVID-19 by providing access to social protection and economic recovery mechanisms. Specifically, the project aims to achieve 4 main outputs:
a. Help contain the spread of the COVID-19 pandemic through provision of inclusive risk communication, hygiene promotion, and personal protective equipment;
b. Mitigate immediate impact on the well-being of vulnerable persons through psychosocial support, health referrals, and unconditional cash assistance to meet basic life-saving needs;
c. Stimulate socio-economic recovery and improve resilience of COVID-19-affected individuals and households through inclusive livelihood and resilience building; and,
d. Promote inclusive emergency and early-recovery response by humanitarian actors, CSOs, and government in the national and local level.
In order to implement the project goal, HI is currently looking for technical officers for its office in Yogyakarta. The post holders will be will be engaged in the implementation of the I AM SAFE project. The detail is as follows:
Position Title : Inclusion Officer (IO)
Location : Yogyakarta
Closing date : rolling (this position will be filled as soon as the suitable candidate is identified)
Basic Salary Range : Rp 6.3 – 7.2 million IDR depending on objective weighting of candidate’s profile and non-negotiable
Position Title : Mental Health and Psycosocial Technical Officer (MHPSS TO)
Location : Yogyakarta
Closing date : rolling (this position will be filled as soon as the suitable candidate is identified)
Basic Salary Range : Rp 6.3 – 7.2 million IDR depending on objective weighting of candidate’s profile and non-negotiable
Position Title : Inclusive Risk Communication and Community Engagement Officer (IRCCEO)
Location : Yogyakarta
Closing date : rolling (this position will be filled as soon as the suitable candidate is identified)
Basic Salary Range : Rp 6.3 – 7.2 million IDR depending on objective weighting of candidate’s profile and non-negotiable
The successful candidate is expected to start as soon as possible in July 2020.
MAIN TASKS/RESPONSIBILITIES & EXPERIENCES REQUIREMENT:
1. Inclusion Officer:
• Data collection and management related to issues on inclusion, disability, gender and age (DGA)
• Provide technical advise, support, implementation of strategies and activities related to inclusive humanitarian action
• Liaise with the project partners and maintain the partnership
• Manage the project’s trainings and sessions related to inclusion and DGA issues
• Ensure tools and guidelines are developed accordingly
Experiences requirement:
• Working with national & local governments, Organizations of people with disabilities (OPDs), Civil Society Organizations (CSOs)
• Working in inclusive projects
• Experience in the field of disability and gender, excluded group and support to civil society organization will be an asset
• Experience in developing training material dan facilitating training for vulnerable groups, service providers and local authorities
2. Mental Health & Psycosocial Technical Officer:
• Manage technical support on MHPSS activities
• Data collection and management related to MHPSS issues ensuring inclusion, disability, gender and age (DGA)
• Liaise with the project partners related to MHPSS activities and maintain the partnership
• Manage MHPSS trainings and sessions
Experiences requirement:
• Experience in MHPSS activities
• Experience in the field of disability, excluded group and support to civil society organization will be an asset
• Minimum 2 years experience in an international organization
• Experience in developing training material dan facilitating training for vulnerable groups, service providers and local authorities
3. Inclusive Risk Communication and Community Engagement Officer:
• Conduct rapid assessment communication accountability assessment in the target areas
• Ensure the community-led information feedback mechanism
• Mobilize and train relevant stakeholders
• Develop guidance and tools for a factual, timely, accessible information and education
Experiences requirement:
• Experience in communication and working with the community
• Experience in the field of disability, excluded group and support to civil society organization will be an asset
• Minimum 2 years’ experience in an international organization
• Experience in developing training material dan facilitating training for vulnerable groups, service providers and local authorities
DUTY STATION: All technical officers will be based in Yogyakarta.

GENERAL KNOWLEDGE REQUIREMENTS:
*Degree in social sciences with work experiences & skills:
• In inclusive projects/activities. Experience working for inclusive emergency response is an asset.
• In INGO
• With national/local government on advocacy/emergency response
• With organisations of people with disabilities
• With civil society organizations
• Knowledge of inclusion
• Spoken & written English
Personal Qualities:
* Proactivite and autonomous
*Good problem solving and stress management skills
*Team player
Miscellaneous:
*Licensed and willing to ride a motorbike for work purpose
*Local recruitment – there is no support for mobility for non-resident applicants out of Yogyakarta
Initial contract will be for maximum 1 year with a possibility for renewal until the end of the project.
