The role

AIHSP is seeking an organisation that will be responsible for supporting the Ministry of Health (MOH) in implementing risk communication related to COVID-19 vaccines roll out, 3Ts & 5Ms to the priority groups (e.g. elderly and people with disability) in the priority provinces (Central Java, DI Yogyakarta, Bali and South Sulawesi), and other pressing issues related to COVID-19 and “post” COVID-19. The program is meant to:

  1. To provide and present data, information and knowledge on possible risks related to COVID-19 and “post” COVID-19 to the related high-level government officials at national and sub-national levels.
  2. To provide platforms and to facilitate the utilization of the platforms for the related high-level government officials at national and sub-national levels to communicate the possible risks and available options for the public.

The preferred supplier will be engaged for a period of 6 months, with possible contract extension. Specifically, the preferred supplier will:

  • Generate data and information on Covid-19 and other related issues that will inform possible upcoming risks and mitigating options for Indonesian people, especially those who are marginalized, elderly, or have a disability.
  • Translate the data and information into meaningful knowledge in the form of story, news, presentation, infographics, or audio-visual materials to be presented to the intended high-level government officials at national and sub-national levels.
  • Deliver the knowledge to the intended high-level government officials at national and sub-national levels in ways that will be deemed appropriate and effective.
  • Create, facilitate, or conduct platforms/events/meetings/publications that make it possible for the high-level officials communicating the risks to the public. Whenever possible, the platforms should allow two-way communication between the high-level officials and the audience.
  • The program may be supported by AIHSP resource persons (e.g. AIHSP advisor, MoH spokesperson) related to the topics, materials, case-studies.

About the potential suppliers

To ensure the quality of services provided, Suppliers should 1) possess a license to operate in Indonesia, or 2) partner with a company or organisation that has a license to operate in Indonesia. Detailed selection criteria are outlined in the RFP document.
