Suara untuk Indonesia Bebas Kusta (SUKA)/Voice for Indonesia Free from Leprosy is the multiyears project aiming at raising awareness of the public, specifically community in the endemic areas, health-related students, journalists, and private sectors about the topic of leprosy and its consequences.

SUKA Project Officer
Based in Jakarta
The SUKA Project Officer is responsible to provide proactive, accurate, timely and high-quality administrative work to the existing project and to ensure proper filing of all assigned programme/projects in hard and soft copies. She or he shall provide assistance in ensuring that the administrative requirements of the programme/projects fulfilled and running in efficient and effective ways. She or he shall also adopt to changing and demanding circumstances.

Specific duties and responsibilities
- To develop work plan and strategy of the implementation of the project with strategic/implementing partners;
- To provide ideas, inputs, review to the concepts of the activities in coordination with partners;
- To build relation and network with strategic partners eg. private sectors, campus, media in the measure of awareness raising on the topic of leprosy and its concequencies;
- To ensure that organization strategies are well implemented;
- To develop and compile administrative/paper work of the activities implementation (TOR, contracts, etc) as specified in the organisational manual;
- To prepare progress report and annual report of the project;
Key Requirements
- Persons affected by leprosy or with disability and woman are encouraged to apply;
- Experienced in developing and writing clearly and effectively: Workplan, TORs, reports, features, etc.
- Ability to speak and write in English;
- Good understanding of results based management and what this entails;
- Minimum 3 (three) years experiences in a similar position in an NGO and/or an International Organization;
- Strong organizational competence with good communication and coordination skills;
- Proven ability to think creatively and up to date on the exsisting issues;
- Experience in addressing the achievement of rights and inclusive development, with a preference for experience using the Convention on the Rights of Persons with Disabilities, and the Sustainable Development Goals, and other national regulation.
- Used to work in a dynamic and sometimes challenging environment;
- Proven to manage time efficiently;
- A team player and at the same time able to work independently;
- A problem-solver with strong communication and networking skills;
- Ability to develop and maintain good working relationships with various partners;
- Bachelor degree in social studies, communication, public health and other related development studies;Preference for Indonesian nationality.
