Yayasan Pesisir Lestari (Pesisir Lestari) is a marine conservation organisation that promotes the empowerment of coastal communities in managing their marine and fishery resources. For the sake of increasing the welfare of coastal communities, and the realisation of healthy and sustainable seas for generations to come.
Pesisir Lestari is the main partner of marine conservation organisation Blue Ventures in Indonesia since 2019. In cooperation with Blue Ventures, Pesisir Lestari is building partnerships with organisations with similar dreams, working with coastal communities in various provinces in Indonesia. Together with partners, we work with the vision of improving the welfare of coastal communities, in line with sustainable management of fisheries and marine resources.
We’re looking for a creative senior communications officer to join our team in Indonesia. The successful candidate will work closely with our Indonesia based conservation team and UK-based digital communications colleagues, to document our learning and experiences in reports, toolkits and news articles, as well as telling engaging stories from the field, whether they be photo stories, films, blogs, or social media campaigns.
The successful candidate will also lead our internal communications within Indonesia, using appropriate platforms to streamline effective communications within our growing team. This role entails working as part of a fast-paced, interdisciplinary and international organisation, with excellent opportunities for creative thinking and professional development.
The successful candidate will report to Pesisir Lestari Managing Director and will be based in Denpasar, with regular travel to work with field teams.
