Vacancy at NLR Indonesia : Program Development Officer & Program Development Insterns

 NLR Indonesia is a national foundation, member of the NLR Alliance. NLR Indonesia's programs aim for prevention and control of leprosy, prevention of disability due to leprosy, and reducing stigma and discrimination for persons affected by leprosy and persons with disabilities. We partner with organizations, government and non-government, whose missions or concerns are similar with NLR Indonesia, such as organizations of persons affected by leprosy, civil society organizations, disabled people organizations, educational institutions, and professional associations, at international, national and sub-national levels.

 

Currently NLR Indonesia is looking for candidates for following positions:

 

  1. Program Development Officer (1 position)
  2. Program Development Interns (2 positions)

 

based in Jakarta

 

Main Responsibilities

Under the supervision of the Program Development Manager, the Program Development Officer’s main responsibilities are:

·           Proactively establish and cultivate relationships with potential funding partners from both profit and non-profit sectors.

·           Responding to any requests for information from potential finding partners in relation to program development initiatives

·           Creatively generating written idea for program development purpose through various ways, including but not limited to desk review, discussion, reading, observation and field visits.

·           Identifying information and opportunities for partnerships and collaborations from potential funding partners through various ways.

·           Funding partners data management

·           Lead or contribute in developing quality concept notes and program proposals, liaising with the program and finance department.

·           Review grant agreements, including initial review and provision of feedback to funding partners.

·           Being the contact person of NLR Indonesia at the NLR Alliance on program development-related topics.

·           Provide support and carry out other tasks as required by NLR Indonesia

 

Qualifications

Program Development Officer

·         A bachelor degree in any major

·         Minimum 3-year full time work experience at non-profit or social entrepreneurship organizations or research organizations

·         Minimum 1-year experience in writing project reports, popular articles/opinion, research reports, features, concept notes, proposals.

 

Program Development Interns

·         A bachelor Degree in any major

·         Interested in writing

·         Interested in working for development program

·         A letter of motivation is needed in the application

 

Competencies

·         Someone with a common sense (practical wisdom or the ability to make rational decisions based on one's own experiences and understanding of the world)

·         Interpersonal skills; ability to deal with muti-cultural/background team.

·         Writing skill, proved by samples of writings

·         Communication in both Bahasa Indonesia and English

·         Ability to work as part of a team and independently

·         Well organized and keen to take initiative

·         Ability to meet the deadlines

·         Ability to create a supportive working environment

·         Adhere to NLR Indonesia’s values: Dignity – Communicative – Integrity – Trust – Responsibility – Accountability
