KOMPAK Program

KOMPAK is an Australia-Indonesia government partnership supporting the Government of Indonesia's efforts in reducing poverty through improvements in basic service delivery and creating opportunities for work. KOMPAK focuses its efforts on three result areas:

  1. Supporting Local Governments and Service Units to better address the needs of basic service users;
  2. Supporting the poor and vulnerable to benefit from improved village governance; and
  3. Supporting the poor and vulnerable to benefit from increased opportunities for employment and economic development.

 

The Opportunity

The Program Officer will ensure the project management process runs effectively in carrying out program activities including budget forecast, administration, financial support and operations, throughout the duration of project implementation.

 

Key Duties

  • Responsible for ensuring all requests for goods by team are fulfilled on time, purchasing service/goods, accommodation and travel
  • Identifying and selecting the most appropriate suppliers to fulfil purchase request, raising efficiency and achieving greater cost effectiveness
  • Oversee the team needs including office supply – stock control and ensuring that stock is held for rapid fulfilment of purchase request
  • Oversee the processing of supplier invoices; all in accordance with the Operations and Finance Manual. Prepare payment request and supporting documentation based on Finance Policy
  • Support Performance team and Program Implementation Team in preparing for and carrying out events (workshops, seminars
  • Developing and monitoring event budgets and proactively providing updates within team members on their disbursement status
  • Willing to travel (National/Region) to assist and organize events

Key Requirements

  • Minimum Diploma III in relevant field of administration, finance, or accounting
  • Demonstrated experience in logistics, administrations, contract development, procurement and contract management
  • Strong communication skills and interpersonal skills, including negotiation skills
  • Must be detail-oriented and show patience and determination to explore the problem and all of its elements
  • Active communication style and fluent in Bahasa Indonesia and English
  • Ability to adapt to a fast-paced working environment with multiple deadlines
  • Has initiative and problem solving, strong computer skill, able to work in Miscrosoft office (Word, Excel, Power Point)
  • Proven working experience and knowledge of Commonwealth Procurement Rules
  • Understanding of gender equality and social inclusion issues
