Media Product Development Consultant

 

Project Description

 

Health Policy Plus (HP+) is a seven-year $222 million project funded by U.S. Agency for International Development USAID that was awarded to Palladium on August 28, 2015. HP+ has a mandate across global, country, and subnational levels to strengthen and advance health policy priorities in HIV, family planning and reproductive health, and maternal health. It aims to improve the enabling environment for equitable and sustainable health services, supplies, and delivery systems through policy development and implementation, with an emphasis on voluntary, rights-based health programs. HP+ also aims to strengthen in-country partners’ capacity to navigate complex environments for effective policy design, implementation, and financing aligned to their priorities.

 

At the end of its 7-year project, HP+ is required to manage and produce media products including the infographic, video profile, and other media materials that both depict the work HP+ has been doing as well as those that are still ongoing. These media products will be shared with key stakeholders at the central and local levels and added to the existing HP+ knowledge products. In the process of producing the media outputs, HP+ is also required to communicate with key stakeholders, including the Government of Indonesia (GoI) and USAID to ensure the compliance to the standards of GoI and donors. To deliver this task, HP+ is looking for a short-term consultant who is apt in managing media products, effective in communication, and has professional background in development project. 

 

Assignment Overview

 

HP+ is seeking a short-term consultant who will be assigned for managing and producing the development of HP+ media products. S/he will be responsible to manage the existing HP+ media products to be launched in the final dissemination events, overview the production of a short-video of Public Private Partnership (PPP) in Health, and assist in communicating the progress of media product management with HP+’s counterparts.

 

Scope of Work of Consultant

 

  • Manage and organize the existing media products of HP+ and overview the development of the ongoing development of other HP+ media products.
  • Monitor and overview the development of a short video of PPP developed by the selected vendor.
  • Working together with the Jakarta and Washington DC teams to update the progress of HP+ media product management with donors.

 

Qualifications

 

  • Bachelor’s or master’s degree in relevant field.
  • Prior work experiences with donor’s development project are preferred.
  • Excellent command in English and Bahasa Indonesia Proactive, accountable, good attention to detail and commitment to perform well at work.
  • Minimum 5 - 10 years relevant work experience in donor funded development projects.
  • Competent in using PowerPoint, Adobe Photoshop, Canva, or other graphic design Software
